I was really happy to find this great example of how to construct a Tinkers Tent or Bender as we are planning to make a few this summer. Very clearly explained and a nice historical insight from Adrian Rose into how & why they were originally made. Great work North west bushcraft. Many thanks.

A great idea to challenge your bushcraft & survival skills. If you only have a few items with you, this video by Really Big Monkey 1 demonstrates how you must adapt what you have to make it through the night in the woods in comfort and style.

I'm always on the look out for anything that makes our clients stay with us more comfortable and entertaining. When I saw this little video it got me thinking, maybe one day we may be able to offer a stay in a tree tent. Watch the video and it all becomes very clear. We really like them.

If you are new to map reading and compass work this is a great video to watch. I suggest you try it with your own compass and map while watching the video and if you need to, watch it a couple of times just so you fully understand  and remember it. Map & compass reading is easy but only when you know how. Once you get it you’re on your way.

The video is from Black Owl Outdoors, who are Kirk & Stony, two brothers who have a passion for the wilderness. They have many other  great videos that are well worth a look.
